Cervical degenerative disc disease causes when the discs gradually lose hydration and the ability to cushion the spine's vertebrae. It can lead to painful irritation of cervical nerve.

Cervical herniated disc is a condition which the cervical disc gets herniated due to the leakage of the jelly like inner layer called nucleus pulpous through a tear in the disc's protective outer layer. This may happen because of an injury or aging.

Cervical spinal stenosis and myelopathy is a condition which causes the narrowing of the spinal canal due to the degeneration of the spine. When the spinal canal narrows and compress the spinal cord ( a large bundle of nerves that runs inside the spinal canal) leads to myelopathy. The symptoms of myelopathy is weakness of arms, hands, legs or feet.

Cervical for aminal stenosis occurs when the foramina (the holes in the vertebral construct) become narrowed, which can cause irritation for the nerve root that runs through it.
